HISTORY OF THE INSTITUTE

The Institution was established under World Bank Scheme during 1995 with a focus on Women Technical Education. Initially two branches namely Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HM & CT) and Food Technology (FT) with intake capacity of 20 each were introduced. After 2 years Comp. Sc. & Engg. Was introduced and the intake strength was increased to 120 per year having 40 each. It carries a glorious part of success and fame. The Alumni have travelled throughout the World and established their name and fame with high professional attitudes. .

During the year 2014-15 the Institution experienced a huge capacity expansion by introducing 03(three) core new branches like Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Engg. With 60 intake each. Now the Institute is proudly serving the state by producing 300 skilled persons in various skill areas, which is one of its kind in the state.

This is the only Institute providing Diploma Courses in Hotel Management & Catering Technology. The Alumni of the Dept. have spread all over the country and the world with a successful career.

The Food Tech. Dept. is well equipped with all modern Food Processing & Preservation Machineries for best quality training in the Food Processing Sector. It is one of its kind in the state and carries a high name at the National Level.
